Kaitlin’s personal work has evolved significantly over the years, nowadays developing a gradual focus on traditional mediums such as graphite and oil. Her artwork is a reflection of her ever-growing perceptions of reality, conveying the fragility and instability of her environment, dreams, experiences and emotions. Her work’s intention is to support her own personal healing and understanding, highlighting the importance of artwork as an emotional and educational journey.
Inspired by the likes of John Dyer Baizley, Alex Grey, and Allen Williams, her work typically features strong symbolism, derived from her religious upbringing and fascination with spirituality. With this religious influence, Kaitlin wants her work to resonate with audiences to allow others to make new and personal associations.
